Our thunderstorms lit up nicely Tue. afternoon -- especially inland along & west of I-95. Lots of reports of small to medium sized hail, downed trees & power lines, lightning strikes & extremely heavy rain. 3.75" of rain was measured by a N.W.S. employee in Clay Co. not far from Orange Park. An upper level low will be close enough to produce more storms Wed. before storms become more widely scattered again for a couple of days.
