Spend a Saturday with family and friends at the 6th Annual "Crafternoon" to benefit Children's Home Society of Florida. The fundraiser will take place November 10, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Jarboe Park in Neptune Beach(on the corner of A1A and Florida Boulevard).
Crafternoon is an outdoor, old fashioned, fun-filled family event for children ages 2 - 102. There will be 10-15 nostalgic craft stations including tie dye t-shirts, leather stamping, glass bottle decorating, woodblock painting, cookie decorating with the ROAR of the Jacksonville Jaguars and more. CBS47/FOX30 News Chief Meteorologist, Mike Buresh will be emcee of this fun-filled event.
It will also have an old fashioned BBQ, children's performances, dance groups, live music and a silent auction of wooden keepsake boxes from local and national artists.
The event is open to the public and free to attend. You can purchase $20 punch cards onsite, good towards crafts and food, each ranging from 1-5 punches. All proceeds go to Children's Home Society of Florida.
