The Nassau County Health Department and Florida Community College at Jacksonville are sponsoring two pre-screenings of the PBS Series “Unnatural Causes” –a film about health disparities and the impact of gender, race, class, and socio-economic status on health. The first screening of “Unnatural Causes-In Sickness and In Wealth” will be shown March 18, 2008 at 6:30pm at FCCJ's Betty P. Cook Center, Nassau Room T-126, 76346 William Burgess Blvd, Yulee. Screening two “Unnatural Causes- When the Bough Breaks and Becoming American” will be shown on March 27, 2008 at 6:30pm at the Peck Center Auditorium, 516 S. 10th Street & Elm Street, Fernandina Beach. After the film, please join us for a discussion about health disparities and how the Nassau County community can address the root causes social injustice and inequalities.
