After more than two years the Intermezzo Free Sunday Concerts are ending!
Please join us for the last program of the Intermezzo Free Sunday Concerts series, which will feature Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra violinist Max Huls and award-winning pianist Christine Clark. Program selections will include Aaron Copland’s Violin Sonata (1943), the world premiere of Edward Lein’s Sonatina (2007), Rebecca Clarke’s Midsummer Moon (1924), and Johannes Brahms’ Sonata no. 3, op. 108 (1886-88).

Showcasing the talents of prominent First Coast musicians, Intermezzo Free Sunday Concerts are open to the general public and reservations are not required. Post-concert receptions encourage audience members to meet and mingle with the artists, and finale concertgoers will receive copies of favorite reception recipes. The monthly concerts, which began in March 2006 and will conclude with the June 1st concert, have been the best-attended monthly series of adult programs in the history of Jacksonville Public Library -- you won't want to miss our last Intermezzo concert on June 1st!
