Program presenters, Robert C. Broward, Elizabeth "Peggy Friedmann, Louise Stanton Warren, and Joel McEachin will each address aspects of the city's role in the Spanish-American War. Mr. Broward, Ms. Friedmann and Ms. Warren are currently working on the books involving the "personalities" and stories of the era.
The Jacksonville Historical Society is located at 317 A. Philip Randolph Blvd. Free parking is available on the street along A. Philip Randolph or in the lot behind the Merrill House, far end. Security will be on duty. Guests are welcome. For more information, 665-0064.
