First Coast Pride Presents the 30th Annual Pride Festival Weekend
"Pride Begins With You"

12p - 6pm - Historic Riverside Park
This great family oriented outdoor event willnot only include fun, food and games but also children's play area and a vendor marketplace for sponsors, merchandise and arts and crafts. New this year, the First Coast Pride Festival will feature a Pet Parade on Sunday July 27th. Of course, continuous live entertainment can be enjoyed by all fromthe MERGE Main stage including local, regional and national artists. Additionally, free rapid HIV testing and education will be provided on July 26th & 27th.
First Coast Pride Block Party - On July 26th 6pm - 10p the sun begins to set, the streets close off and the music pumps up in Historic 5 Points. Spectators will enjoy frozen beverages, carnival foods and dance to pulsating sounds from some of Jacksonville's finest DJ's. This event also features local and regional sideline entertainment as everyone anxiously anticipates the arrival of the First Coast Pride Parade.
First Coast Pride Parade - July 26th at 7pm - Advancing our tradition, this eventing parade will begin in Historic Avaondale district and weave its way nearly 3 miles into Historic Riverside and end amongst the midst of the First Coast Block Party. This year's parade features the South Florida Flamingo Freedom Marching Band and the Tampa Bay Wranglers, a country western dance team. The procession will include local and national businesses, organizations, community service and student groups as well as hundreds of "friends of Pride".
MOSAIC - July 26th 9:30p - 3am at Historic Five Points Theatre - High engery dancing, cocktails and rotating DJ's highlight this enthusiastic celebration of equality for all people. A portion of the proceeds will benefit MERGE Jacksonville's UNF GLBT Scholarship Fund and MERGE Jacksonville's community center building fund.
